It is difficult to raise a couple of kids with proper education and care given the rise in inflation and living costs and that becomes a nightmare when you don’t have a partner who is sharing the burden of expenses, and every mother would want the best for their children but single moms often find it hard to put two meals on the table let alone quality living and education, and apart from that there is an emotional challenge that they face and this is something that isn’t talked about, the government, charities and non-profit organizations focus a lot on helping single moms out with food stamps, providing bedding and reliefs of that sort but support group for single moms are there to cater the emotional side of things, she needs to be patched up and be readied for the challenges she faces because no matter what sort of financial grant she receives if she is not over the trauma then she won’t be able to tackle the challenges.
The reason why people join support groups is because their friends can only help to a certain extent and there are two reasons behind it, friends are loyal and sincere but they are not experts at consoling or providing solution and secondly one might not always be comfortable with sharing every last detail with them, these support groups however have experts who know how to help you get out of the situation, loneliness and depression is a common thing that is found in single moms and sometimes they are fighting against the fact that they are depressed and it takes a professional to let them know what the situation is and what they should do and what the approach should be like in order to get out of the mess.
